Dr. Prem Sahasranam

Dr. Prem Sahasranam, MD, is founder, CEO, and Chief Medical Officer of My Diabetes Tutor, the first accredited diabetes-education telehealth program in California and the first approved for all Medi-Cal patients. A board-certified endocrinologist with over 20 years of clinical experience, he trained at Madras Medical College, Harvard Medical School, and Cornell University, and serves on the faculty of Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He founded Central Valley Endocrinology in 2007 to serve rural Central California. Through My Diabetes Tutor, he removes geographic and social barriers to lifesaving diabetes education for underserved communities nationwide.
